Miranda Lambert, country’s queen, plays Tahoe on July 18

Miranda Lambert will perform July 18 at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys.

Fresh off a secret wedding last month with a New York City police officer, country music singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert has hooked up a July 18 gig at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena, Harveys announced.

“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!  My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. me,” Lambert tweeted fans after-the-fact.

Now, it’s also no secret that Lambert, 35, a native of Lindale, Texas, is headed to Lake Tahoe, as many newlyweds do. Tickets for range from $69.50 to $149.50 plus fees and taxes for the Thursday night show. Presales at apeconcerts.com (code: wings) begin Wednesday, March, 6, with general sales starting two days later.

Previously, Harveys announced five other concerts for the popular summer series: fellow country star Tim McGraw on Friday, June 14, a cappela stars Pentatonix with Rachel Platten on Sunday, July 7, The Steve Miller Band with Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives on Saturday, Aug. 24, country music’s Luke Bryan on Sunday, Aug. 25, and the Dave Matthews Band on Friday, Sept. 6.

Miranda Lambert is the reigning Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year, having received the award for nine consecutive years. Her accolades include two Grammy Awards, 13 Country Music Association awards, and 32 Academy of Country Music awards, as well as other honors including the prestigious Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony.

Lambert released a double album titled “The Weight of These Wings,” in November 2016, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. She had six previous studio albums: “Kerosene” (2005), “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (2007), “Revolution” (2009), “Four The Record” (2011) and “Platinum” (2014), the latter earning her a Grammy Award for Best Country Album, in addition to her previous Grammy win for Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 2010 for “The House That Built Me.”

She toured extensively in 2018, starting with the Living Like Hippies tour in January and then the The Bandwagon summer tour with Little Big Town. Lambert also was honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame and named “Artist In Residence” with two performances in September.  As if that wasn’t enough, she wrapped the year with releasing another “Pistol Annies” album on Nov 2.
