Electrify: Rock N Roll Burlesque will be held in the Vinyl showroom Dec. 28-30.

New Year’s Eve Weekend begins with the debut of Hard Rock’s sultry new resident show, Electrify: Rock N Roll Burlesque, Dec. 28 through 30 at Vinyl Showroom. Each night, doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at the Rock Shop.

On Dec. 31, the Electrify dancers make their way to Revolution Ballroom for the night’s most coveted event, Hard Rock’s A Night of Roaring Glamour Dinner Show. Featuring a gourmet buffet dinner, complimentary champagne bar, jazz dance band, and variety performers, the Roaring Glamour show will take you back in time just as you’re about to jump into the next year. Tickets are $189 ($249 after Dec. 1) and can be purchased via the Hard Rock website.

At Vinyl Showroom on New Year’s Eve, the resort is making way for its biggest ’80s party ever featuring the wavy-haired, spandex-wearing stars of Glam Cobra. Taking the stage at 9 p.m., the band will rock guests into 2018 with the greatest hits of Bon Jovi, Guns ‘n Roses, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, and more. Tickets are $89 and include a champagne toast plus the exclusive Hard Rock New Year’s Eve LED bracelet that will light and flash to the beat of the music anywhere in the resort. After the countdown, Vinyl stays open until 4 a.m. with DJ Rizzo free entry for guests 21 and over.

For those hoping for a prime seat to watch the ball drop at midnight, Park Prime steakhouse is offering a New Year’s Eve Prix Fixe dinner menu for $150. Guests can reserve a table at the Park Prime Website, and get ready for a night of celebratory toasts with their closest friends and family.

For the third year, the party is being taken outdoors to Guitar Plaza, where DJ Rizzo will heat up the crowd with a free concert and light show. Guests can dance on the plaza or take in the party from the Alpine Union patio, where they can snuggle up at a fire pit and watch TV screens showing New Year’s celebrations happening around the world. A $60 ticket to the patio reserves a free drink, bracelet and an intimate setting to ring in the New Year.

The Hard Rock’s New Year’s Eve bash is bigger than just one party, it’s a resort-wide event destined to be the loudest in Lake Tahoe.
