Sacramento’s Aftershock Music Festival has announced the lineup for the three-day massive rock music fest in October, and it doesn’t disappoint. With some of the heaviest and most aggressive bands from around the world playing, Aftershock has put out one of the hardest lineups on the West Coast this year.
Slipknot, Staind, Rob Zombie, Korn, Tool, Halestorm, Lamb of God and Marilyn Manson are just a few of the over 50 bands taking the stage from Friday, Oct. 11 to Sunday, Oct. 13.
Aside from the headliners, Aftershock dips into an entertaining array of other bands from the hard rock world. Blink 182, Bad Religion and Sum 41 will bring their unique brands of punk to the festival, The Dropkick Murphys will play their cacophonic Irish drinking anthems, The Crystal Method mix electronics into their aural assault, and Babymetal and Andrew W.K. are sheer energy and entertainment on a completely different plane!
This year, the festival is bringing in a selection of quality food vendors who will be onsite as well.
Day and Weekend passes, along with VIP packages are available at the festival’s website.

ABOUT Shaun Astor
Shaun Astor cites pop music singers and social deviants as being among his strongest influences. His vices include vegan baking, riding a bicycle unreasonable distances and fixating on places and ideas that make up the subject of the sentence, "But that’s impossible…" He splits his time between Reno and a hammock perched from ghost town building foundations.
