Charlesthefirst, Opiuo (Caldor Fire fundraiser)

Two international touring musicians with deep connections to Lake Tahoe are performing a benefit concert for Caldor Fire victims on Nov. 6 at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa. Bass music producer Charlesthefirst, who grew up in Squaw Valley and Truckee, will be headlining the electronic music event alongside Australian funky bass producer Opiuo. Opiuo, who performed three of his seven tour dates in the Tahoe area on his first ever tour of America back in 2010, has continued to play the area ever since and has become a local favorite. Local resident Brio opens the show.
100 percent of show profits go to the El Dorado Community Foundation who just opened up a new assistance portal for people who experienced 25 percent or more fire loss.
