Bluesman Mighty Mike Schermer’s Album Release Show starts at 7:30 Friday, June 10, at Cypress Reno. Schermer’s eighth album, “Just Gettin’ Good,” was recorded at Kid Andersen’s Greaseland studio. It includes session stars Jerry Jemmott, Terry Hanck, John Nemeth and Austin DeLone. Mighty Mike also plays in the Marcia Ball Band and played for several years with Elvin Bishop.
