Greg Golden Band, Montrose friends’ heavy metal meltdown at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe

When the Greg Golden Band appears at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe, a few things are certain: the house will be packed, the metal will be white hot and some high-profile guests will hit the stage. During the Reno band’s fifth appearance in Vinyl, four former members of Montrose — Paul Holdgate, Randy Scoles, Steve Brown and Larry Hart — appeared with the rest of Golden’s gang: Boris Tavcar, Richard Wagner and Jeff Montgomery.
