Photographer’s notebook: Jimmy Leslie’s Guitarfish Family Band warmed up for the festival with a Commons Beach performance in Tahoe City on July 1. This was a great way for me to celebrate my 60th birthday. This band is phenomenal, and they they killed it Sunday!  Guests Pamela Parker, Ashley Kepler, Peter Joseph Burtt, Simon Kurth and others shared the stage.  Brent Dana from Guitarfish and Ryan Kronenberg from Hangtown Music Festival were  in attendance. too.  Usually the bands at this venue stop early but for this band there just wasn’t enough time. — Larry Sabo
