It’s always best to savor Leftover Salmon on day three. That’s what happened at WinterWonderGrass on Sunday, April 2. Salmon’s Vince Herman and Andy Thorn had sparkles in their eyes and smiles on their faces as they took the Main Stage last Sunday evening in Tahoe’s Squaw Valley. Music fans were all smiles, as well. Day-three bands made sure of that: Mandolin Orange, The Railsplitters, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Peter Rowan, and local-favorites The Dead Winter Carpenters joined Leftover Salmon to sing and string throughout the day.
