On a weekend when thousands of celebrity-golf fans rolled into Tahoe, Third Eye Blind celebrated the 20th anniversary of releasing its self-titled debut album. The San Francisco band entertained a packed crowd on Sunday, July 16, at the Lake Tahoe Outdoors Arena at Harveys.

Undoubtedly, fans were ready for “Jumper” — (“I wish you would step away from that ledge my friend…”)

Perhaps it was no coincidence that a Bay Area band performed on the day that former Oakland A’s hurler Mark Mulder booked a three-peat victory at the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe golf course. Three’s company, no doubt, and with Third Eye Blind onstage, there was no looking back.

  1. Obviously you weren’t there. Stands were empty and you whiffed on the warm up band. Loved this website but now not sure. Third Eye Blind was good but those there really wanted more than the hour!!!!! How does that happen???
