WinterWonderGrass flourishes despite some wet stuff

Improvisation is the staple of bluegrass music and that’s just what they did when it poured rain on the opening day of the WinterWonderGrass festival at Squaw Valley. Vince Herman & Friends provide the party inside, above. Organizers set up tents and gave out 2,000 free rain ponchos. The annual festival continues Saturday and Sunday.
