Summertime and Phish “phans” will be jumping to Lake Tahoe.

The band announced its summer tour today, which includes concerts Tuesday and Wednesday, July 21-22, at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys.

Tickets for the Tahoe show go on sale Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. PST.  All tickets are $85, plus tax and fees, and they are sold only thru Ticketmaster Outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or www.apeconcerts.com. Show time is 6:30 p.m.

It will be a general admission show. Unassigned bleacher seats are available on a first-come basis.

The tour starts on the West Coast in Eugene, Oregon on July 14, followed by three nights in Quincy, Washington at The Gorge.

Phish played at Harveys in 2018, 2013 and 2011.

“We’re excited to have Phish come back. They really like Tahoe and the crowd here and they always sell out, said John Packer, who oversees public relations for Harveys Summer Concert Series.

Packer has fond memories of Phish shows. He said concertgoers noticed his nametag and thanked him for bringing Phish to Tahoe.

“They’re happy fans,” he said. “They’re a great show and their audiences are very mellow and they’re fun to watch.”

Harveys shows previously announced are Kenny Chesney and Michael Franti & Spearhead on July 2-3 and Old Dominion on July 17.

“We’re circling around for more shows and will have more announced soon,” Packer said.
