The Red Room will be jammed with Earphunk on Saturday, April 12.
A jam band out of New Orleans, Earphunk will make its Lake Tahoe debut in the Crystal Bay Casino.
The band recently signed with Blue Mountain Artists, which this winter added Reno’s Jelly Bread. Dave Berry of Jelly Bread said his band might tour with Earphunk in the future.
The band plays high-energy fun with plenty of improvisation. It has played 140 show in the last year and appeared at theWakarusa Music Festival, Bear Creek Music Festival and The Purple Hatters Ball. It has shared a stage with Galactic, Big Gigantic, Toubab Krewe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Zoogma, Perpetual Groove, Break Science & Chali 2NA, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and Rubblebucket.
Saturday’s Lake Tahoe show starts at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge.
