Kenny G has sold more than 75 million records. His career ballooned in 1992 with the album “Breathless.” It was No. 1 on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s R&B chart. It was one of the top 100 selling albums of all time and included the No. 1 single “Forever In Love.”

“Kenny, Kenny G that is, is a refined instrumentalist with a lot of wonderful ideas that have connected with millions around the world,” says fellow jazz great and spring touring partner George Benson. “He is a master of the soprano sax.”

Kenneth Bruce Gorelick was born June 5, 1956, in Seattle. At 30 years old in 1986, he released the album “Duotones,”  which first brought him commercial success.

Since the early ‘80s, his combination of unparalleled instrumental chops and indelible melodies has resulted in sales of more than 75 million records worldwide (45 million in the U.S. alone) and more than a dozen climbs to the top of Billboard’s contemporary jazz chart.
