Summer is heating and so is Reggae Ska Tuesdays in the Crystal Bay Casino.
J Boog and Katchafire with Aaradhna and Siaosi will headline “Island Reggae Showcase” at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 in the Crown Room. Tickets are $20.
J Boog and Katchafire have toured together before. Last year the two bands starred at the first Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival.
Katchafire is an internationally acclaimed roots reggae band from New Zealand. It has four full-length albums and a devout fan base.
J Boog first hit the national seen with the group B2K. He combines a reggae-soul singing style with hip-hop. He’s also an actor, appearing in “You Got Served.”
Reggae-Ska Tuesdays are held through the summer.
